About Sneha:
Sneha comes from Bordha Village in Tapi District, Gujarat State. This village is very hard to reach. You must walk or ride a motorcycle through the rough terrain to reach this village. This is a dry area of the district and farming is very difficult. Sneha is forced into child labor in order to earn food for her family. The family survives with one meal a day, which is only about one or two tortillas. Sneha’s school is very far away. When/if she is able to attend, can only do so for about two or three days out of the month. She wants to go to school regularly and get a good education. She wants to become a welfare officer so that she can help people.
