About Salinaben:
Salinaben comes from Sheltipada Village in Tapi District in Gujarat State. This village was completely destroyed by a flood and rebuilding of the village is going on. Every family is struggling and are very poor. Her parents eventually abandoned her and went to the neighboring state looking for work. Salinaben lives off of the mercy of people by going hut-to-hut. Salina has two siblings that she also tries to care for. She wants to get a good education and wants to become a judge or village officer. She is very eager to get out of the slum village.
